pot-luck dinner

If you missed Saturday night's pot-luck dinner in our clubhouse, you missed some great company and lots of different kinds of food dishes.  Those who came had a great hour of dinning and visiting.  They plan to do this again later in the summer.   Our thanks to Bo,&; Pat and their committee for a great evening....
Hope you all enjoyed Father's day with your family.
Thanks can be returned but never borrowed.
I understand residents have been using our beautiful pool.  It is there for all of us.  Be sure you wear your badge. If you don't have one, contact the office for one as patrol or any share holder will ask you to leave if you don't have it with you.  Let's play by the rules
Sorry to inform everyone but Coffee hour on Tuesday mornings is being discontinued until this fall.  We want to thank Bo and Pat for all they have been doing and perhaps if you know of someone who was planning on going over tomorrow, let them know not until this fall......

What good is this blog if people can just delete what others have to say. Pretty selfish! Must be they do care about the community they live in! obciously they are paid well to keep the impotant issues quiet!

This blog is onesided, Why is it the only person can post a blog here, is Barb! Then this is a glorified birthday card! It really isn't for anything important to the community, Obits and birthday cards only. Therefore it's not about Lakewood Village. Its about what Barb wants.

Mr. Anonymous ,

Please do not attack "Barb" as you have called her . She does this as a volunteer and therefore should not be dragged into a situation that she has nothing to do with, She does a beautiful job with this blog and if your
fight is with Management bring it to me and leave this gracious lady out of it.

Management only listens to certain residents! Not the majority! So why bring it to them when it goes on deaf ears!

To address the single person use, I have seen a various number of people that have commented on many of the posts over the years, and usually they stick to the subject being posted. Volunteers Barb and Diane of years past have done a good job with keeping a variety of activities and subjects depending on the involvement and activities of the community. We live in a wonderful community and personally I would not want anything left on here negative as I prefer to read postive and uplifting comments instead. This also is a representative of where we live and us personally as residents.

Wow!!!! I can't believe what some people are saying. First off, Mom has done this for the people of the park. She DOES NOT GET PAID for this. She does a great job at it. Second, she has always said if you want something written on this blog to just let her know and she would put it in for you. Everyone can put a comment in this at anytime. Does she take some comments out??? Sure..who wants to read all the complaining. You can read that in the newspaper or listen to it on the tv news. This was suppose to be for fun and to let others know little tidbits of information from around the park. The office has all the other information if you want to hear it or complain. Don't take it out on "Barb". AND Third. Volunteer!!! If you don't like something...help to change it. Don't just complain.

These were not all one person I only posted the first post. I apologise to barb! But I'm glad my point was infact heard. This was not aimed at barb or Diane. It was just a notification to our residents to help handle a problem our office can't. Again barb Diane sorry for the way this happened.
