Easter breakfast and egg hunt

This morning the Village clubhouse was a humming with giggles and little laughter. The Easter bunny had been there and hid many eggs for the little ones to find. This was done after each had their fill of a marvelous plate of pancakes, eggs, meat and juicies. Even the parents and adults who attended were pleased with the wonderful turnout.++++

The committee worked very hard in getting everything to come to gether with such a happy group working all morning. Everyone praised them for an outstanding presentation. We were happy to have been a small part of such a lovely morning. We hope everyone has a pleasant Easter tomorrow and get out and enjoy your Village once again.....

Sad News Today

Last week a lady friend of the Village went on to be with her husband. Mary Jackson was a avid card player and joined in any activity that the Village had to offer. You may remember her and her little dog, "Mr. Jackson".

She was a follower of the the Kennedy families lives and had a collection of their coming and goings. Mary had to leave the Village several years ago (3) to go be closer to her family but we still thought of her often.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice.

Anyone wishing to sign the guest book may do so at: http://www.buxtonseawinds.com/

Our sympathies are with her family as she will be missed by many..

There were so many beautiful carts including the one that the group from our Village decorated and donated all the wonderful food to the Harvest Food and Outreach Center. We thank everyone who worked so hard in making this event such a great success. So many stayed for the entertainment of the fabulous band and dancing. Looking forward to next year.

Fish and Wildlife gave a guided tour of their building and just full of great information... Again, see anyone you know????

There will be the Easter Breakfast and egg hunt at our clean and fun clubhouse on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. You will find a sign up sheet on the bulletin board so that the committee will know how many to plan for. This event is $5.00 per adult or $10.00 per family and $1.00 for all non residents. In the past years we have had a fun time watching the children scramble to find all the eggs with prizes in them. Bowling Banquet

Wednesday night was the bowling banquet for WII bowling in our clubhouse.

Everyone received an award for their outstanding bowling and a lot of laughing.

The food was furnished by Glen and Pat with the moneys that were collected each week. We all had plenty to eat and enjoyed the company of our bowling partners.

Our thanks to all who came throughout the year and cheered on everyone, no matter how good or how rough it was. Our directors, Glen and Pat worked hard at making each week a time where we could get together and forget everything for a few hours. Bowling will resume in about a month so that everyone can take a break and get ready to start all over again.

*** A special donation will be given to the R.O. for the use of the clubhouse and a donation to the Hibiscus Festival Shopping Cart parade. Food will be purchased in the name of Lakewood Village Bowling league.

A goal without a plan is just a wish.. See you all next month..
