Happy Summer Days

The days are moving right along with the heat and sunshine. The activities are a slow and standstill for a few weeks.

Our roads are being all resurfaced so we will have the look of new driveways. Everyone will be pleased when it is all done.

I have chatted with Pat A. and she informs me that the interest in the Snack Shack isn't materializing so it will be put on hold until a later day. It is such a good idea that it will be brought up again. Pat is still going to try to keep Coffee hour alive on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for those who want to come over and chit chat. This week however the roads will keep us from having it until next week. See you then.

The 25th of this month the Social Club is still planning on hosting a family swim party at our beautiful pool for all Lakewood Village Residents so check your notice for the time. You will have a great DAY. 11:00 to 3:00 as listed in the newsletter....

Good news this afternoon>>> Grace & John G. are doing well and are both healthy and happy. They have their vegetable garden growing and looking forward to the harvest. They have been attending graduations and birthdays. It is wonderful to have such a nice family to live your life with. Have a wonderful summer guys and keep in touch...

Our next project for the entire Village after the pool party is the 4 Th of July Summer pot-luck picnic that is held here in our large clean clubhouse. There are notices being distributed through out the Village. A second one will also be delivered soon. Please check them as it is important for everyone to get one and plan on attending the one summer party that the Lakewood Village Social Club presents. I know that they will be needing donations of baked goods for their cake wheel. Mark us on your calendar. If you bake,,,Let one of the girls know so you can put a special pie or chocolate chip cookie on the judges table. It will be fun...

For the moment keep Nancy D. in your prayers as she is in the hospital with some broken bones. Our thoughts are with her as she is still very much a good friend of the Village.

A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest people...

We didn't get a flyer but looked at the ones in the clubhouse.
