Monday is our Memorial day with much to be
to be thankful for.
I know for many it is a day off from work but
it also is a day to stop and think about what
it all means.
We live in a country where we have such freedom
due to those who chose to fight
for that right.
Now we want to thank you for choosing
that right for all of us.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life,

wrote a blank check made payable to

"The United States of America, for the amount of

"up to and including my life".

That is honor and there way too many people

in this country who no longer understand it.

Red Hat Ladies invitation

inviting everyone to come to our Air Conditioned

clubhouse

On Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.

They will be hosting a movie for those who

would like to get together with their friends

and neighbors for a

Brown Bag and your drink

meal that you would bring to watch

this movie with.

This movie is rated P.G. but perhaps

a little graphic, so use your discretion

with younger children.

Pool & Hot tub

One of our best treats we have is our

Beautiful Pool and Hot tub.

It seems that these privileges have been

abused with inappropriate behavior these

last few weeks.

If you see the rules, that are posted,

being broken, please call security as they are

there for everyone to abide by.

~~

Be sure to wear your pool pass as without

it you will be asked to leave.

The office has these passes and you will

need to have one with you while at the pool.

If you forgot to bring it with you, you will

be asked to go home and get it.

The goes for ALL!!!, including any guests

that you may have invited.

These rules are posted at the pool for all to

see.

This is becoming a problem and needs

to be recognized.

~

With your help we will once again be able to

enjoy our beautiful pool without having to

leave because someone is not abiding by the

rules.

~

Let's get out there and help each other.

Peggy D. is still having water exercises every

Wed., Thurs., and Friday. in our pool.

If you wish to workout please let her know and

she will be happy to explain what they are doing.

A tribute

A special tribute to MOM

Mom lived her life for Love of friends and family,

Neither asking for nor wanting in return.

Her days became a sunlit homely,

with other's joy her joy and main concern.

When we were ill, she also became sick:

When we were cut, she too, began to bleed.

Of our oil lamp she was the wick,

Drawing her bright flame from our need.

Some say that such behavior's out of date:

That self-fulfillment is the way to grace.

But Mom, without much choice, then chose her fate,

Finding greater truth in embrace.

She lives on in the sparkle in our eyes.

Laughing, quiet, gentle, Loving wise.

Perhaps this could be the way you

would like to remember your Mom.

Great trip

Had word from your editor this evening.

They are now in San Diego and will visit

with the family for a spell before

heading to Oregon.

They have so many wonderful plans for

their summer so we should be hearing

from them again soon.

We wish them a safe and healthy time

out west.

Got word that Lou and Nancy C. have made it to

Tennessee without any problems.

They are enjoying themselves before

leaving for Penn. in the next few days.

Hopefully they will let us know some of

the details of their summer trip.

This Sunday marks a very special day in all our lives.

overlooked with time and Sunday you can

take the time to let someone know how much impact

that they have had in your life.

On the road again

Virginia and Joe are going on the road up north

come this week.

We wish them a safe trip until we see them

again this fall.

Made it home

Got word that Robin & Beth made it all the way
home to Scotland at 3:00 a.m..
The trip was good and they were really tired and
only unpacked the "Fritos".
The rain has been coming down and everyone
has nice and green lawns. Maybe they could wish
some of it for us????
