Today marked the end of a great Tuesday hour.

Announcement was made that this was our

last coffee hour for the season.

Everyone showed up to say so-long until

we meet again. ( as Peggy put it)

We want to thank our wonderful Social Club,

especially Jessie

for a great season of coffee and donuts and

colorful conversation.

Until this fall we hope everyone has a great

summer.

We need old friends to help us grow old

and new friends to help us stay young.

so this is one last chance to visit with those who will be

leaving us for the summer.

Saturday became the second successful

Hispanic breakfast

that your Social Club presented.

The beautifully decorated clubhouse

put everyone in just the right mood for the

Delicious food that was served by

the elegantly Chef and young gentlemen.

16 tables were adorned with all the

proper dinnerware and decorated with care

according to the theme.

The highlight of the morning came when

the music came through the doors.

A four piece

Mariachi Band in full dress.

Everyone quickly got in the mood of

the morning with a lot of swinging and swaying.

Our thanks to the Village Social Club and their

outstanding crew.

I'm sure we will all wait anxiously for their

next outstanding presentation.

after her long surgery.

want to surprise her at our

Easter Bunco

Easter bunny visited the Bunco group on Monday night.
Pizza was delivered to this hungry bunch of dice
throwing people.
The winners were awarded their cash prizes along
with the losers.
Everyone had a fun evening and hope to continue
thru the summer months.
Come out at 7 on Monday nights for a lot
of laughs.
Our thanks to the Easter bunny for this
delicious treat.

Farewell Nettie

On this Easter Sunday, the family of Nettie Nelson
(grandmama)
wishes to express to their many friends here in
Lakewood Village and all of those who sent cards and
visited her during her illness , their deepest appreciation.

The service was held yesterday that would have
made her very proud and sad to have missed
seeing you all once more.

Grandmama is now with her heavenly family as
she leaves her earthly one.
This is what she prepared herself for and her
wish was granted.

The family is already missing her and her wonderful
sense of humor but we know her greatest wish has

Easter Bunny

On this Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday
the Social Club again had a great event for the families
in Lakewood Village

There was a breakfast of pancakes and sausage
(complete with juices and coffee)
for everyone while they waited eagerly foryou guessed it!
The Easter Bunny!!
The Easter Bunny entertained young and oldbefore heading out to the Egg Hunt.
After the hunt each of the children were given a
special cupcake to make
their Day

Easter Egg Hunt.

Saturday April 11 is the annual Easter Egg Hunt

and Pancake Breakfast at 9:00 a.m.

Children make sure you color your picture

that came in the Swan Sentinel and bring it

with you.

There will be prizes awarded.

The hunt begins at 10:30 so make sure

you are there early.

Your social club always have the best

planned hunt around.

Lots of food and eggs to be found...
