And away we go.

August is almost gone but the hot weather is still here.
The Village is still planning events.
*****
Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. there will be
a special coffee hour. For those who are
able to attend, try to to come to
the Clubhouse.
***
On Sunday the 23rd your yummy
Ice Cream Social will held at
2:00
also in our cool Clubhouse.
Don't miss out on this wonderful
treat.
***
This is a time when families up North are trying
to get together for gatherings
before the cool (cold) weather begins.
We are no exception, therefore for the next
several weeks your reporter will not be
giving the news but I'm sure that if something
happens you will be notified.
***
Leaving you with something special....
Check back on the Blog Archive that is located on
the right side of the screen. Click on August 20, 2008.
This will remind you what happened a year ago.
It is interesting and fun remembering our past.
****
Stay happy, healthy and enjoy.
The thing to remember is that the
future comes
1 day at a time.

Week-end coming up

Here we are at the week-end again.
Ever wonder what happened to the week?
Here in the Village we mostly tried to keep
cool. It has been very hot but our
pool has been beautiful.

Sunshine in the head keeps wrinkles
out of the face.
Keep smiling.
***
Smile when picking up the phone.
The caller will hear it in your voice.

Old granddaddy......

Sean & his catfish
This is the granddaddy

This is the release.

Sean B went to our Island again to fish and this is what he caught.
He didn't have his scale with him but we were all
called over to view this awesome catch.
Sean goes to fish almost everyday as the Island is for
all our residents to enjoy.
His favorite bait is minnows and it sure did work.
Congratulations
We look forward to what next he will catch...

good news

Just had word that Big Bob O made it through his
surgery yesterday.
The results seem to be wonderful.
Perhaps all your prayers have helped
make the difference.
Thank You all.....
We will keep watch on his
progress.

Hospital News

Nancy S. has returned home from the hospital
and is into a lot of physical therapy.
Her recovery is coming along but she is keeping
it at a slow pace.
When she is up to visitors, we will let everyone
know. She does tire quickly.

Just received word on Bob Ozment.

We are awaiting word as to what the results
of his operations are.
We will keep him in our prayers as he is
in God's hands right now.
