Tuesday Coffee and Presentation

Coffee was hosted by the Ozments and after getting settled with our donuts and drinks and getting our initial hellos - how are you's out of the way -

We were blessed with a presentation by our grandchildren. They presented 4 songs in mime and dance for the large turnout. From what I've heard - many of the residents really enjoyed the message brought by them. They worked hard getting it ready - as they usually present with a Team - but put a special presentation together just for thier visit here from California. The oldest 2 have been involved with the Team for several years but the younger 3 are almost "newbies" at it. I am very proud of them.

They were done in plenty of time for the Bocci teams to play thier regular games and from the looks of the Bocci Courts - there are many regulars that enjoy spending thier Tuesday mornings out in the sunshine!

Winter seems to be over. . . . .

One of our residents here made this comment the other day:

I saw 2 flocks of geese headed north. . . . I'm starting to get homesick. But as we all know. . . winter isn't over up there yet. With storms and lots of snow still falling. . . It's not time yet.

Her daughter has 2 small dogs that can still walk over the drifts (and the fence) LOL

So we all need to remember our neighbors to the North as we play in the sunshine here in Florida!!
