The month of June is just spilling over with birthdays.  If you have one you will be celebrating with some of Lakewood Village's finest.
Eleanor and Jim share the 3rd.  Mary L. along with Ernie and Barb have the 20th.Have a good one Doris C.
I know that Al. H. has one somewhere in here....23th?
June came around quite quickly as will the storms so keep a watch on the weather....Have your plans in mind.  Keep those yards clear of trash....
YES!  There is still coffee hour on Tuesdays in our cool clubhouse.  Sorry this was omitted from the monthly calendar but Bo and Pat have said  as long as there is an interest they will make coffee and get the donuts.  Let's show up and support them.....

I'm sure someone can sing.....
Happy birthday everyone....

John and Grace sent a note that they had made it back up north and looking forward to their fun filled summer.
Flowers doing well and garden in soon.  They will be going to confirmations and graduations for their grandchildren.

Good to hear from you and will look for you coming back in October.  Have a great summer.

Next we have heard from Teresa S.  She was playing golf this week and had a heart attack on the golf course.  They had gotten her to the hospital where life saving techniques were applied.  She has been in touch with several people and doing well.

An interesting phone call this afternoon.....Martha M. let me know that Ray is doing much better with the help of family, friends, neighbors and nurses.  He is trying to respond quickly as soon as possible as they want to fly back to Michigan to have his doctors check him out.  She was very optimistic.....I now understand that Ray and Martha have returned up north and Ray is doing just great as of Sunday.  Way to go....  Thanks Peg.
In the next sentence she let me know that Gordy K. had called to let us know that is wife, Marie had passed away this morning.  They had lived here for many years but left several years ago.  Our activities were always graced by their attendance . Our condolences are with Gordy and the family from all of us in Lakewood Village.....
