Beautiful week-end coming up

The end of February is here and what a month it has been:
The weather has been totally different than usual and people have been on edge.
This will all change with the month of March coming up but first....
We want to Wish Doug a very happy birthday and we will celebrate many more.
Love ya....
***
Next month things are happening and the
Red Hat ladies
are planning fun and exciting things. On Tuesday the 11of March they will be heading for a fun lunch and then over to the clubhouse to view a movie on our beautiful screen.
Queen Peggi has so many good idea' s for these brave women.
***
I also had a request for anyone who is able to help out in the kitchen on any given
day or time. They need people to help set-up and organize functions. So if you can help out let Nancy C. know what you can do to help them out...

2010 Census information

The census is really important to our district for government programs, assistance, and representation, to just name a few,  so simply, PLEASE beware of what is happening.

• If a U.S. Census worker knocks on your door, they will have a badge, a Census Bureau canvas bag and a confidentiality notice. Ask to see their identification and their badge and check them carefully before answering their questions. However, you should never invite anyone you don’t know into your home.

• Do not give your Social Security number, credit card or banking information to anyone, even if they claim they need it for the U.S. Census. While the Census Bureau might ask for basic financial information, such as a salary range, it will not ask for Social Security, bank account or credit card numbers nor will employees solicit donations.

• Census workers may contact you by telephone, mail or in person at home. However, they will not contact you by e-mail, so be on the look out for e-mail scams impersonating the Census. Never click on a link or open any attachments in an e-mail that are supposedly from the U.S. Census Bureau.

You can sit outside on your porch for the interview if you choose. You do not have to invite them into your home.
Our area local office is:
Port St Lucie
SW Port Saint Lucie Boulevard
Port Saint Lucie, FL 34953
Phone: 772-361-6019

If a Census Worker is rude, demanding, or asks inappropriate questions, call the office with thier name.

And here in the Village - you can call the office to check on whether the office knows there are Census workers on the property.  They should not be here without checking in at the office.
If you want further info visit: http://www.census.gov/ and follow links to answer your questions.

***My thanks to John G. for bringing this to our attention.***

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day with your sweetheart.
*****
Last night's dinner dance was classified as a wonderful success.
The food was in large portions and an orderly service was performed.  Everyone was pleased that their table was served quickly.  The music was played all through the dinner and was to the liking of 90 people who stayed and enjoyed their evening.
Everyone danced and chatted with old and new friends with the thought that the next dinner was just around the corner in March.
Our thanks go out to Nancy C. and her happy to please crew who all evening kept the food and conversation going for a pleasant relaxed Valentine's dinner.
This red and white night was clearly one that we all will remember of this new season.
Everyone can be proud of the outstanding selection service that given to each and everyone through out the evening.

**
What better way to impress your sweetheart than to give her an

Hope to see everyone there at 6:00 on Saturday night.

Love to all you sweethearts...

A change

After 3 years of the same layout - Barb asked that I 'change things up a bit' - so I have - I will get out and take some new pictures and add them also.

I know that many of us don't care for change so I didn't really change much.  If you have any suggestions, find errors, or have any constructive remarks - thank you for them -

I hope you enjoy Barb's excellent reporting and hard blog-work for the next 3 years!!! :->  I know I do -

Have a wonderful day - and don't forget to keep WARM!!

Tailgate Party

Your party crew
Your new Social club officers

The great Ozment family

Superbowl party turned out to be a very memorable day for all.
****
Everyone who turned out for this wonderful occasion was not disappointed in the least. The weather was a little nippy but we all came into our spacious clubhouse to enjoy the program that your Social Club had prepared for us.

The Ozment girls sang to entertain all of us with great pride that their father was able to come and enjoy everyone. This was their way of saying thank you to Bob's friends and neighbors.
~~~~
Your Social Club wishes to thank everyone who came to their special party and many more thanks to those who donated their time and resources as volunteers.  Special thanks to the kitchen crew as they were out there everywhere working hard the whole time, cleaning, serving and just being wonderful hosts.
The Villagers let them know that they appreciated all their efforts in getting the newly installed Social Club Board off on a super start and that we all wish them a successful year ahead
****
The 50/50 prize went to one of your hostess and we all were so pleased that she donated 1/2 of her winnings back to the Social Club.
Thanks a million Connie..
****
Yes it was a success but we are not done yet!
This Saturday is your
Valentine's Dinner Dance
and we want everyone to come and see what else that they have to offer. Tickets are $7.50 each and can be obtained at Tuesday's coffee hour from Nancy C. or check with any officers. You must have a ticket. You don't want to miss a single event the rest of this season!
